The Role

NewRocket is a global team of ServiceNow professionals who help our customers run and grow their ServiceNow environments. We are hiring for a ServiceNow Solution Architect (ITSM, SAM and CSM) role. The Solution Architect is responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who architect, design, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform for advisory and project professional services. The Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions using leading practices on complex professional services projects.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Serve as primary technical point-of-contact for projects and as the face of the engineering team
  • Deliver measurable positive results within the client and team’s timelines and budgets
  • Prepare and facilitate customer workshops to capture and define customer’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Management on creating a plan that drives results based on the customers’ requirements and budget
  • Research industry impact and innovative opportunities to propose product enhancements
  • Provide engineers with architectural blueprints/requirements for implementations
  • Responsible for demos and delivery of additional documentation, proof of concepts, and knowledge transfer activities for project and crew members
  • Collaborate with the Pre-Sales team and Delivery Organization on creating plans that drive results based on the customers’ requirements and budget
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring Along

  • Proven ability to consult as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions in the client environment
  • Proficient in multiple product lines which may include: ITSM, SAM (Software Asset Management), CSM (and more)
  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to simplify complex situations
  • Ability to deliver a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and change

Technical Skills

  • Strong skills in ITSM, CSM domains and knowledge of ITIL
  • Solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, and/or equivalent work experience

Certifications & Knowledge

Must

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)·
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM or CSM)

Preferred

  • CIS – Discovery
  • ITIL v4 Foundation
