The Role

NewRocket is hiring for a ServiceNow Solution Architect, to join our India team. The Solution Architect (ITOM/ITSM) is responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who architect, design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform for advisory and project professional services. The Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions using leading practices on complex professional services projects.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure team organization, individual development, and communication are in-line with Delivery vision; support teams to perform at a high level; foster inter-team collaboration and productivity
  • Deliver measurable positive results within the client and team’s timelines and budgets
  • Prepare and facilitate customer workshops to capture and define customer’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Management on creating a plan that drives results based on the customers’ requirements and budget
  • Research industry impact and innovative opportunities to propose product enhancements
  • Provide engineers with architectural blueprints/requirements for implementations

What You Bring Along

  • Strong knowledge ITOM/ITSM modules
  • Strong knowledge of architecture principles for cloud-based platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Effective facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills with ability to motivate a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to simplify complex situations
  • Ability to deliver high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and change

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, and/or equivalent work experience
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Experience in supporting large client programs from an integration and support perspective

  • 8-12 years of experience in IT Services
  • Proven business architecture experience
