We are hiring for CONTRACTOR - ServiceNow Solution Architect with ITAM experience in ANY product domain. You will use your skills and experience to come up with innovative solutions to achieve customer goals.

The Role

Asset Management & SAM experience

Deep technical understanding of the ServiceNow Platform (e.g. performance analytics, system security) with specific focus on the applications in the IT Asset Management Software Asset Management space (SAM). Proven consulting, design, roadmapping, and team coaching experience as a key technical and business process expert leading the development and delivery of Asset Management (SAM), SPM, CMDB, CSDM, as well as Oracle and Microsoft Azure licensing Integration solutions in client environments.

  • Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow ITAM solutions in client environments
  • You will work with our clients directly to help transform business solutions and deliver solutions using your knowledge of ServiceNow platforms
  • Architect and design ServiceNow ITAM solution, lead technical teams in the implementation and operations of ITAM solution
  • Experience and leading ServiceNow ITAM custom integrations and implementations
  • As a Solution Architect, you will be a critical liaison among client partners, technical resources, and key project stakeholders
  • Knowledge of ITIL, minimum Foundation level, ideally higher
  • Proven experience with key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow ITAM integration
  • Manage all aspects of application development, including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting systems, query optimization, and report-writing.
  • Create and execute development plans as appropriate to meeting changing needs and requirements

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, Build and Deploy ITAM ServiceNow interfaces for Asset Life Cycle Management globally.
  • Lead workshops with customers to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications as needed, specifically related to ServiceNow Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) Workshops. SAM technical knowledge and expertise, providing technical guidance for ServiceNow SPM implementations, including architecture and design.
  • Assess and prepare technical documents, analyses, and briefings in support of business management and technology delivery environments as they relate to the Strategic portfolio management suite.
  • Drives SPM process definition, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis of current/to-be processes. Identifies solutions from a people, process and technology perspective during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders, generating the required outputs to the level required for the subsequent stages of the engagement
  • Identifying areas of SAM process improvement (efficiency and effectiveness) and recommending solutions that detail pros, cons and risks
  • Lead clients in their efforts to take advantage of the ServiceNow functional capabilities and in their efforts to improve their SAM processes
  • Invest and maintain expertise in SAM product process capabilities, features and complimentary processes
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of Global Delivery and the Technology Practice as well as the maturing of the SAM practice portfolio, capabilities, expertise and best practices.
  • Responsible for demos and delivery of additional documentation, proof of concepts, and knowledge transfer activities for project and crew members
  • Work collaboratively with Project Manager to monitor for scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues, complex business processes, and escalations from customers
  • Collaborate with Solution and/or Platform Architects to develop the overall project implementation plan
  • Draft and publish to company repository technical and process documentation for the ITAM Asset Life Cycle Mgmt. and SAM policies, processes & solution offerings for the technology practice.
  • Prepare and facilitate customer workshops to capture and define customer’s requirements.
  • Provide engineers with architectural blueprints/requirements for implementations

What You Bring Along

  • Must be technically proficient in the following product lines: ITAM (SAM), SPM, APM, CSDM, CMDB.
  • Proven consulting experience as a key technical and business process resource leading the development and delivery of Asset Management (SAM), SPM, CMDB, CSDM and Integration solutions in client environments.
  • Lead clients in their efforts to take advantage of the ServiceNow functional capabilities and in their efforts to improve their ITAM SAM processes
  • Invest and maintain expertise in ITAM & SAM product process capabilities, features and complimentary processes (APM is a plus)
  • Domain knowledge and experience with Strategic Portfolio Management and Application Portfolio Management practice capabilities a plus
  • Certifications
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
    • At least 2 ServiceNow CIS Certifications (CIS-ITAM SAM, CIS-PPM or APM preferred)

Education:

  • A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or demonstrated work experience]

Certifications & Knowledge

The candidate must be willing and able to continue their education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond. It is expected that the candidate will be able to complete ServiceNow competency Certifications as well as Module Accreditations.
