Job Responsibility- Technical Consultant
The primary role of the Technical Consultant is to work closely with customers to review their technical requirements, propose solutions to business problems and then deliver the chosen design.
Responsibilities:
· Attending functional design workshops.
· Crafting design specifications based on out-of-the-box functionality and customer requirements.
· Customer engagement to address the technical solution, including challenging and validating customer requirements.
· Resourceful with creative solutions to resolve business problems, technology issues, process, and people challenges.
· Supporting the Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to validate and help deliver client presentations, workshops, proof of concept designs, and responses to technical and business inquiries.
· Subject Matter Expert on the delivery of ServiceNow solutions
· Strong experience in integration with third party applications and data sources
· Lead all technical aspects... of project delivery and solution delivery
· Application UI Configuration
· Workflow Configuration
· Development of required client specific reporting
· Development of requirement integration components (SSO, LDAP, Web services etc.)
· Prepare all client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
· Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences
Requirements:
· 5+ years of software implementation experience in either a development or consulting role.
· Proficient in IT and Enterprise Service Management or any large enterprise SaaS solution.
· Solid grasp of ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM toolset.
· ServiceNow experience in the areas of ITSM, SPM, ITOM, CSM, FSM, Finance Management or HR products.
· ServiceNow Certifications in all areas.
· Expertise with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, and Shell.
· Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) and XML and JSON knowledge.
· Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
· Experience of WebServices, API's, Database-level integrations/ETL
· Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and working a SaaS environment Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies
· Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proven team player and team builder.
· Experience of ITIL, minimum foundation level, ideally higher. Knowledge of other frameworks such as COBIT, IT4IT is beneficial.
· Desirable: Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM and/or CSM or FSM, SPM, HRSD and ITOM
