Technical Requirements and Certifications »

  • Possess a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Education and Experience »

  • At least three (3) years’ experience developing, testing and deploying ServiceNow custom applications to production instance.
  • Proficient with ServiceNow import processes and transform map validations with three (3) years’ experience.
  • Proficient in developing ServiceNow customer service portals that support external users with three (3) years’ experience.
  • Proficient in developing ServiceNow widgets with three (3) years’ experience.
  • Proficient in using JavaScript and HTML with three (3) years’ experience.
  • Proficient in SQL Programming and query optimization with three (3) years’ experience.


  • Possess a sound understanding of areas of Computer Science such as algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design and databases.
  • Proficient in agile management framework.


Job Responsibilities:


  • All solution components (tables, business rules, scripts, custom portal, etc.) have been created in ServiceNow.
  • The project team is in the process of performing functional and performance testing which could reveal new defects to be addressed.
  • ServiceNow Developer will lead the defect management cycles and resolve all bug defects which may require updates to existing business rules, fields, forms, scripts, scheduled jobs, etc.
  • ServiceNow Developer will make recommendations and implement solutions to address performance issues identified during testing.

Data Migration:

  • SQL queries and transform maps created to perform the data migration have been validated.
  • Sample data for every table has been successfully migrated from legacy CAMS to CAMS Next Generation.
  • ServiceNow Developer will lead activities to migrate all data from legacy CAMS to the ServiceNow Production environment and resolve identified data migration issues.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

  • External system users will be invited to test the upload of their files via the ServiceNow customer-facing portal.
  • ServiceNow Developer will provide UAT support and resolve identified defects through to acceptance.

Deployment and Support:

  • To ensure a successful launch of CAMS Next Generation, the ServiceNow Developer will partner with CDT’s IT Service Management (ITSM) staff and follow the release management process to publish the application to production, migrate the data, support go-live and provide post go-live support.
