- *The Role**
Partner in a team environment and be able to independently lead the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of new cloud-based software or significant enhancements to existing complex software in support of Lumens Digital Communications area.? Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for explaining solutions and procedures.? Lead others in the application of principles, theories and concepts and use methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects related to complex software.
- *The Main Responsibilities**
This position has expertise in translating IT requirements in the design, development, and assembly of components to create custom information systems.
Typical examples of the deliverables are functional and technical designs, models, components, code, unit tests, and documentation.
Provide technical direction in the creation, delivery, and integration of multiple and moderately complex software solutions.
Understand how ServiceNow can effectively enable our customer solutions to become more efficient and configure the platform to achieve measurable benefits.
Work within the Digital Communications space to provide enhanced digital experiences to our customers which may include chat, email/sms notifications, systems integrations, and other customer facing UI experiences.
Assist in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes.
Develop and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs
Explore and evaluate new and approved technologies.
Consult on the application of existing and new, approved technologies to develop solutions.
Provide troubleshooting for integration management, security, and application issues.
Capable of working independently, as well as with team members on different teams and in different locations.
Working closely with IT and business partners to develop new and enhance existing capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Establish the current and future use of practice, metrics, and methodologies to determine current and future solutions.
Work with Product Development, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
Actively participate in all relevant agile ceremonies for each project iteration.
- *What We Look For in a Candidate**
7+yrs of software development experience
5+ years of related ServiceNow development experience
Experience with the ServiceNow solutions and modules like ITSM, CSM, SOM, KM with demonstrated UI ability
Experience in Performing code reviews with other team members in a reviewer capacity.
Experience creating systems integrations and process automations.
Experience with the ServiceNow scripting
Experience in technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced software Engineers.
Experience with a Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration approach.
Familiarity with the ServiceNow Workflow Designer, App Engine Studio, Assignment Rules, Service Catalog, UI Builder/NOW Platform, Next Experience UI.
4+ years of experience with application integrations such as RESTful Web Services, File/Data transfers, etc.
ServiceNow developer certification is a plus
Experience with ServiceNow chat and notifications a plus
3-5 years of experience with Agile Development Methodology.
3-5 years of experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.
3-5 years of experience building ServiceNow UIs leveraging the different available UI technologies.
Project-based experience, preferably in ITSM, ITBM and ITOM technology.
Solid experience in requirements gathering, including experience in creating processes documentation.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills (Visio, Word and PowerPoint proficiency).
Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.
