REQUIREMENT
JOB TITLE: SERVICENOW DEVELOPER / ADMINISTRATOR LOCATION: ST. LOUIS, MO work remotely 2 days a week and work onsite 3 days a week (Locals Only) Long term Contract
MODE OF INTERVIEW: 2 interviews are required the final interview will require the consultant to come to our clients office for a face-to-face interview.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in Information Systems or Information Technology
- Prior experience with ServiceNow products such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SECOPS, ITBM, and GRC
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as JavaScript, XML, or JSON
- As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer (known internally as ServiceNow Systems Engineer ), you will provide day-to-day operations and support for our ServiceNow platform.
- You will have responsibilities similar to that of a ServiceNow Administrator, but will also perform design and development work.
- To be successful as a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will need to leverage your... knowledge of best practices and stay up to date on the latest ServiceNow features.
- You will analyze and recommend updates and opportunities to implement new features.
- Furthermore, you will prepare and maintain technical documentation as needed.
- Being willing to take ownership of technical scope and being comfortable advising on direction and prioritization will also be required of you in this role.
BIG PLUS (BUT NOT MANDATORY) IF THE CONSULTANT HAS THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILL:
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certificate
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools, applications or using SOAP and REST APIs.
- Prior professional experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems in object-oriented languages, such as Java, C#, C++ or Python
JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer (known internally as ServiceNow Systems Engineer ), you will provide day-to-day operations and support for our ServiceNow platform. You will have responsibilities similar to that of a ServiceNow Administrator, but will also perform design and development work. In this role, you will work closely with the Platform Architect and other Engineers & Product SMEs in pursuit of various strategic goals and continuous improvement. This role will provide you the opportunity to leverage your technical, operational, and strategic skills.
To be successful as a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will need to leverage your knowledge of best practices and stay up to date on the latest ServiceNow features. Required:
- 10+ years of experience in Information Systems or Information Technology
- Prior experience with ServiceNow products such as, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SECOPS, ITBM, and GRC
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as JavaScript, XML, or JSON
- Capable of writing code for enterprise systems in accordance with internal software development standards
- Prior experience administering the ServiceNow platform, including monitoring, optimizing, and ensuring overall compliance
Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certificate Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools, applications or using SOAP and REST APIs Experience configuring and enhancing the core application, including, but not limited to, platform UIs such as service portal, platform portal, and mobile applications, parent tables, forms, lists, catalogs, workflows, roles, system properties, business rules, reports, and dashboards Experience configuring and enhancing all aspects of ServiceNow such as workflow, user interface (UI), client scripts, business rules, and more, utilizing out-of-the-box functionality as much as possible and only customizing when necessary Prior experience performing incident response, including the ability to prioritize and demonstrate strong judgement
Prior professional experience developing, maintaining and troubleshooting systems in object-oriented languages, such as, Java, c#, c++ or python Prior experience working within change management processes
