Role definition

The Senior ServiceNow Architect plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions to meet the organization's business needs. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business processes, and leverage the ServiceNow platform to deliver effective solutions and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Platform Configuration: Lead the configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform to meet the organization's unique needs, ensuring best practices and optimal performance.
• Integration Management: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and communication.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the ServiceNow development team, ensuring the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and adherence to security protocols.
• Automation: Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency using ServiceNow Orchestration and Automation capabilities.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of ServiceNow applications, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and ensuring high availability.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations to facilitate knowledge transfer and support ongoing maintenance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, administrators, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment of ServiceNow solutions with organizational goals.
• Stay Updated: Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's use of the platform.

Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Master Architect
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect, with a focus on designing and implementing complex solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of Service Management (ITSM) processes.
• Expertise in ServiceNow scripting, Glide API, and development best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow integration techniques such as REST, SOAP & MID Server.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Good to have ServiceNow Certified Master Architect
