ServiceNow Administrator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated contract ServiceNow Administrator to join our team. This position is based in Columbus, OH, and offers a flexible work environment, including the opportunity to work remotely for candidates outside of Columbus. • *Position requires U.S. Citizenship** Responsibilities:
• ServiceNow Discovery Administration: Provide guidance and expertise in the administration and maintenance of ServiceNow Discovery.
• Catalog and Workflow Management: Develop and maintain catalog items and associated workflows to orchestrate configuration management processes.
• CMDB Maintenance: Ensure the hygiene of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving problems.
• Incident Resolution: Review, troubleshoot, and resolve Discovery, CMDB, and other ServiceNow incidents independently.
• Documentation and Monitoring: Build and update business process and technical implementation documentation for ServiceNow. Monitor the health, usage, and overall compliance of the application. Required Skills:
• U.S. Citizenship: Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
• ServiceNow Expertise: Proven experience in administering ServiceNow IT Operations Management and IT Service Management.
• Networking Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of networking principles.
• Windows Administration Experience: Solid experience in Windows administration.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with little direction.
• Documentation Skills: Competency in creating and updating technical documentation. Nice to Have Skills:
• Linux Administration: Fundamental experience in Linux administration is a plus.
• Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in JavaScript and PowerShell is highly desirable. Work Environment:
• Location: Columbus, OH. Preference will be given to candidates able to work a few days per week in the Columbus, OH office.
• Remote Work: Candidates from outside of Columbus, OH, needing to work remotely, will be considered.
