Position Overview ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for administering, configuring, customizing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to meet the organization's needs. You will work closely with all aspects of IT and business to facilitate the growth of the ServiceNow Platform Your primary duties and responsibilities may include:

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and... Functions)

Manage and administer the ServiceNow platform, focusing on IT Operations Management and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) functionalities.

Configure and maintain CMDB to ensure accurate and up-to-date representation of IT assets, relationships, and dependencies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with IT Operations goals.

Assist Project Management with Strategic Portfolio issues and enhancements.

Customize workflows, forms, and integrations to optimize ServiceNow for efficient IT service management.

Implement and maintain ServiceNow modules related to IT Service Management, IT Operation Management, IT Asset Management. Including incident, problem, change, knowledge, request, portfolio management.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure overall platform stability.

Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for ServiceNow functionalities.

Stay abreast of industry best practices and ServiceNow updates to enhance the platform's capabilities.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator with a focus on IT Operations and CMDB.

Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation within ServiceNow.

Proficient in configuring and managing CMDB, including data import/export, reconciliation, and normalization.

Solid knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide), web services, and integrations.

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.

Familiarity with ITSM best practices and a commitment to maintaining a high level of service delivery.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or 5 years of experience in Information Technology or comparable combination of education and experience.

3+ years of experience working in a ServiceNow Development/Implementation role.

3+ years of experience administering ITSM Systems including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge Management.

ServiceNow Advanced System Administrator certification.

ITIL V3 or 4 Certification, or other TQM training and certification.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

Experience with ServiceNow ITSM Pro, ITOM, ITAM, SPM

Experience on developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow workflows, UI pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, and UI Actions.

ServiceNow ITOM discovery, Service Mapping.

Knowledge of JavaScript, PowerShell.

Experience with SQL server, databases, reporting services, and system integrations.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills
