Service Now Software Engineer

Position Description:CGI is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with Field Service Management (FSM) and Customer Service Management (CSM) Service Now implementation expertise. The ideal candidate should have experience working independently with no oversight. You should be an expert Service Now developer with a couple of years of Service Now implementation experience specifically in FSM and CSM.Your future duties and responsibilities:- Design, improve, implement, and maintain effective and scalable solutions using ServiceNow, and integrating with third party and in-house products.- Provide technical and functional leadership with Service Now Implementation. Bring in lead level expertise in an Agile team and work with business and technical collaborators to migrate a Field Services solution to Service Now.- Lead upgrades, maintenance, configuration of, and integration with ServiceNow.- Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, standard processes, and procedures in... the field of software development in the completion of sophisticated software engineering activities- Work with CGI engagement leaders and other technical specialists to build Client proposals - Work with Clients to understand their technical challenges and develop innovative technical solutions to address those challengesRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:- BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field- 3+ years of software development experience- 2+ years of professional Service Now implementation experience. Field Service Management (FSM) Implementation, Customer Service Management (CSM) implementation experience is a must- Experience in working with Web technologies, including JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS is a plus- Technical knowledge in development of ServiceNow entities like business rules, script includes, clients’ scripts, UI Actions, UI Macro, workflows, catalogs, etc. - Experience with Access Control Lists, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Data Policies, Workflow/Flow- Experience with Case/Major Case/Field Service Management- Experience with development of the NOW Mobile and NOW Agent Mobile apps- ServiceNow certifications highly preferred- Adept at Agile development practices- Strong interpersonal skills and eye for business- Experience in software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and build processes- Individual contributor able to handle customers and their expectations independently#LI-KW1#DICECGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
