Job Summary:
An independent contributing IT professional within the IT Service Management family developing and applying expertise in two or more IT disciplines that support the organization's infrastructure. Jobs in this family are responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, installing, and/or deploying technologies and providing ongoing optimization of the ServiceNow application platform and related information technologies.
In this position, they will be developing and applying expertise by designing and participating in interactions with Information Service (IS) departments. Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end solutions within ServiceNow, including architecting technical implementations of IT and business processes, and coordinating those efforts with IT Management and the organization's administrators. Participates in loading, manipulating and maintaining data between ServiceNow and other systems.
Serves as a point of escalation for the IT Service Management ServiceNow team. Ensures system stability, integrity and compliance. Ensure quality of work and serves as a technical resource. Develops ServiceNow software solutions and Service Portal pages using one or more Web Services. Analyze, understand, and provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications. Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Workflow Activities, etc. Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, fixing bugs and conducting root cause analysis. Facilitate and support the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow. Advise functional and administrative teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices. Works with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
-Experience in ServiceNow development, including scripting, configuring, customizing ServiceNow and other application development in an enterprise environment.
-Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other relevant web technologies.
-4+ years of experience in service management.
-Preferred: Relevant healthcare experience.
-A BA/BS degree in Technical field or equivalent preferred. May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of education and/or experience stated above
