Digital Employee Experience aims to deliver seamless employee experiences by minimizing technological disruptions to all Vestas employees. We aim to do so by providing products, processes and governance around digital touchpoints for our colleagues and by constantly optimizing end-to-end digital experience, proactively measure and remediate digital impediments that hinder employees from accomplishing their objectives. Our focus is customer-centricity and fostering the outside-in-view.

Responsibilities

In this position you will:

  • Be one of our solution architects for Enterprise Service Management, enabled via the ServiceNow platform.
  • Be responsible for ensuring solutions that contribute to good digital employee experiences.
  • Identify... consult on, and deliver service management solutions across Vestas, by engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and define these as user stories and technical tasks.
  • Scope, design, estimate, configure, and develop Enterprise Service Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform that supports and enable business processes.
  • Take part in and facilitate design, development, configuration, test, and deployment of service management solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Work in a collaborative development environment enabled via transparency and active participation.
  • Aid and guide less experienced team members and spar with your peers.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent and 3+ years of experience with service management enabled by ServiceNow platform.
  • You are familiar with scripting and coding in ServiceNow.
  • Conduct and handling workshops with Business and SME's.
  • You can work independently, as well as in project teams and take ownership accountability and responsibility with minimal supervision.
  • You may come with a background from an implementation partner or consultant/developer in a large company with broad and deep experience within service management capabilities and solutions.
  • You have experience with functional and technical solution architecture and how to ensure scalable and resilient solutions.
  • You are experienced in breaking business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria and provide both high level and detailed estimates.

You have a deep understanding and experience within the following:

  • Service management concepts and capabilities.
  • Platform governance and life cycle management of service management solutions.
  • Several ServiceNow functional modules and the cross functional concepts enabling business benefits and excellent digital employee experiences.

Ideally, you have experience with at least 3 of the following areas:

  • ITSM
  • HR Service delivery Pro.
  • CMDB and Configuration Management.
  • App Engine.
  • Employee Center.
  • Next experience and workspaces.

  • Are professional and committed by nature with a solid sense of quality. Part of the job requires clean-up and QA of already existing solutions.
  • Are self-motivated - You can act on your own. If you see issues while implementing a solution, you make sure that this is noted to be included in future prioritizations.
  • Are strict and minimalistic in your solutions and are able to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organisation.
  • Curious by nature and have a keen interest in acquiring knowledge of new functionality in ServiceNow and other new, value-adding and complimentary technologies.
  • Have great troubleshooting skills with the ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.
  • Can bring about and guide change with the goal and greater good in focus.
  • Are critical, structured, and methodological focused but also enjoy the benefits of working in a team.
