Remote Job Summary

As ServiceNow Solutions Consultant, you will work on ServiceNow Technical Implementations and story creation for our client in the utilities space. We are looking for a ServiceNow Solutions Consultant. This position will be full-time and remote. What You'll Do

  • Participate in pre-sales meetings and activities with client and CAI delivery and sales teams to ensure the right level of detail is included in proposals and statements of work
  • Lead consulting engagements using ServiceNow Now Create methodology from Initiate to Close stage from project initiation through closure, including successful delivery of the project in terms of scope, deliverables, budget, client satisfaction, and achievement of required business outcomes
  • Deliver Requirements Workshops for customer and with the ability to drive requirements decision making
  • Document functional and process requirements in user stories
  • Delivery within engagement budget (for Fixed Price) or on engagement budget (for Time and Expenses)
  • Implement strict change control to minimize scope creep
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery and solution delivery utilizing ServiceNow
  • Lead and manage small, medium and large implementation project teams
  • Lead and manage multiple serial or parallel projects that comprise a single long-running program for a client
  • Prepare all client facing and internal deliverables such as project plan, issues/risk register, weekly status reports, and executive reviews
  • Deliver progress status reports, financials and other information in a live setting with customers
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional value to our clients
  • Drive and deliver continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences
  • Responsible to register and receive positive Customer Scores
  • Work with the Resource Manager to adjust and prioritize resource requests as required by the business demand
  • Provide constructive direct and indirect feedback on engagement resources

What You'll Need Required

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Information Technology or 6+ years of equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification or 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • ITIL V3 or V4 Foundations Certification preferred
  • Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for Project Portfolio Management preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in consulting and project management
  • 4+ years of experience managing ServiceNow Senior Solutions Consultant
  • 6+ years of experience leading the deployment of Enterprise Software (ideally ITIL related) solutions in client environments
  • 6+ years of experience working with Enterprise Software companies and/or consulting companies
  • Experience with recent ServiceNow versions
  • Familiarity with SaaS and/or ASP deployments and its supporting architecture
  • Contract writing skills are a requirement including Statement of Work (SOW) writing experience
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology

Preferred

  • Current Certified Systems Administrator preferred
  • ITIL certification a plus
  • Technical implementation experience with most base ITSM platform modules
  • Implementation of ITOM preferred

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
