Must-Have:

  • years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Strong experience in ServiceNow development, including configuration, customization, and scripting (Java, JavaScript, Jelly, HTML, CSS, XML, MYSQL).
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
  • Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL processes and their implementation within ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Business Rule, Client script, UI Policies, UI Action, Script Include, Workflow, Service Catalog, Flow Design, Transform Map, Update Sets, ServiceNow APIs, Web services, REST APIs and Integrations with external systems.
  • Configure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.
  • Analyze system performance... issues and determine performance enhancements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals.
  • Prepares reports on analyses.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • ServiceNow certifications (such as Certified Application Developer) are preferred.

Job description:

  • As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet the organization's needs. Your primary responsibilities includes:
  • Solution Design: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical designs within the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for creating efficient and scalable solutions that align with best practices and meet the organization's goals.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configuring and customizing ServiceNow's out-of-the-box features, including creating tables, fields, forms, lists, UI policies, and other elements to optimize the platform for specific business needs. You will also develop custom applications and integrations using ServiceNow APIs.
  • Application Development: Building and customizing ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies. This includes creating new functionalities, enhancing existing features, and integrating ServiceNow with other systems as required.
  • Testing and Deployment: Conducting testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of ServiceNow applications and configurations. You will be responsible for managing the deployment process, including migration of changes between development, testing, and production environments.
  • Platform Maintenance and Upgrades: Staying current with ServiceNow releases, new features, and industry trends to provide recommendations for platform enhancements and optimizations. You will actively participate in platform upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to ongoing processes.
  • Documentation and Training: Creating technical documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and user guides, to facilitate effective use and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions. You may also provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the platform.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Participating in incident and problem management processes, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of issues within the ServiceNow platform. This may involve working closely with other IT teams to ensure the stability and reliability of the platform.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including business users, administrators, and other developers, to gather requirements, define priorities, and deliver solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide guidance on best practices and platform capabilities.
