ServiceNow Architect

Introduction As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities Join the IBM team as a ServiceNow architect and lead implementations in support of Federal agencies and their missions! As an IBM ServiceNow Architect, you are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders. This role involves being a ServiceNow expert, guiding clients through the most complex and demanding ServiceNow implementations, and providing advice on best practices (ServiceNow and IBM). You will need to be ambitious, work independently, and mentor and lead the developer(s) and business process consultant(s). The ability... to handle change, ambiguity, and good time management will be critical in this role. Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed: - Understand customer critical business issues, requirements, and outcomes - Draft solutions (Design/Build/Manage) defining scope, timelines, assumptions, and dependencies - Incorporate IBM best practices and accelerators to complement ServiceNow modules and capabilities - Lead technical aspects of the ServiceNow implementation - Provide technical guidance during workshops and assist in the creation and refinement of stories - If required, configure the ServiceNow platform during sprints while sharing knowledge and best practices with platform administrators (client) and the IBM implementation team - Design and communicate a technical architecture blueprint based on capability and process implementation roadmaps aligning to desired Business outcomes

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 5 years of experience architecting and leading ServiceNow solutions
• At least 4 years of experience as a ServiceNow system implementation specialist where implemented, configured, and customized ServiceNow per client requirements
• Experience in implementing ServiceNow processes and functions
• SSO integration experience with Okta
• Experience creating roadmaps for technical offering growth and innovation
• Experience in understanding and designing integrations and interfaces with other systems
• Strong knowledge and/or experience in implementing within the FEDRAMP environment and government security requirements
• ServiceNow Certification: Certified System Administrator (CSA), ITSM, and Discovery
• Must be clearable

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Certified System Implementation Specialist – Service Mapping and Cloud Provisioning and Governance
• Experience with domain separation ServiceNow instance
• ITIL v4 Certification
• Understanding of Agile development methodology and willingness to knowledge transfer

The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
