ServiceNow Associate - Configuration Management

About The Role

• We are seeking a highly motivated ServiceNow Associate to join our IT Service Management (ITSM) team.
• You will play a critical role in supporting our ServiceNow instance by maintaining and building various configurations, workflows, and automations.

Responsibilities

Service Catalog & HR Service Delivery (ITSM/HRSD) :

• Maintain and build new service catalogs, items, configurations, and roles within the ITSM and HRSD modules.
• Ensure service offerings are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with user needs.

Workflow Automation (Flow Designer)

• Create and maintain efficient workflows (flows, sub-flows, actions) to automate service requests, approvals, and other processes.

Scripting

• Develop and maintain various scripts including Script Includes, Server-side scripts, Client-side scripts, and reusable scripts to enhance... functionality and automate tasks.

Security & Access Control (ACL/User Roles/Permissions)

• Configure access controls (ACLs), user roles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access to functionalities within ServiceNow.

Form Customization

• Design and develop custom forms with theming, dynamic fields, widgets, and functionalities to meet specific requirements.

Update Sets

• Create, import, export, and manage update sets for efficient configuration and customization deployment within the ServiceNow instance.

Troubleshooting

• Identify and troubleshoot issues within ServiceNow to ensure smooth operation and user experience.

Desired Skills And Experience

• 2+ years of experience working with IT service management tools or related technologies (preferred).
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow fundamentals (ITSM, CMDB, Configuration Management).
• Experience with at least one of the following ServiceNow modules: ITSM, HRSD, Flow Designer.
• Familiarity with scripting languages used in ServiceNow (e.g., JavaScript, GlideScript) is a plus.
• Understanding of access control concepts and best practices.
• Experience with custom form development is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
