Job Summary

We are searching for a ServiceNow Administrator - someone with hands-on ServiceNow system support and implementation experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration, configuration, maintenance, and CMDB knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical in this role due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with our... internal teams, leaders, customers, stakeholders, vendors, and external teams.

In this role, you'll solve complex business problems using a collaborative approach with multiple teams and multiple stakeholders. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their ServiceNow experience and gain experience in different areas of technology. Experience with the ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) module and ITIL is a plus!

  • Experience Assessing and determining capability of applications
  • Proven experience supporting web based applications, strongly desired
  • Experience building Integrations using REST API
  • Solid hands on experience transitioning old legacy apps to more modern technology desired.

Nice to Have:

  • Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM applications stack
  • Experience on more than 1 ServiceNow implementation
  • Experience in modules ServiceNow GRC, IT Business Management, IT Operations Management
  • Highly prefer 3+ years' experience in translating conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to project team Qualifications

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children's, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption

  • Understanding of how integrations work both with Integration Hub and without
  • Ideal candidate would have IT background or a background supporting ITSM solutions (HP Service Manager, Remedy, etc.)
  • Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts
