ServiceNow Developer

Your IT Recruiter is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire an experienced ServiceNow Developer be a critical member of the IT Applications team.

In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the platform owner and architect, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business objectives. You will maintain and enhance the ServiceNow ecosystem while serving as a technical... lead, guiding and mentoring teams on best practices and complex technical solutions.

We're looking for someone with extensive ServiceNow development and administration experience, ideally 6+ years. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are able to translate complex concepts into digestible insights.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll:

• Champion and evangelize best practices for ServiceNow development and administration.
• Act as a technical lead on projects, serving as the subject matter expert on ServiceNow, focusing on ITAM, ITOM, and integration capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with the IT application administrators, platform owner and architect to design, develop, and refine ServiceNow functionalities and ensure the platform performs seamlessly and meets business needs.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, design workflows and processes, and deliver consistent support.
• Dedicate time for continuous learning to remain updated with new ServiceNow modules and features, adapting to the company's growth trajectory.

Commitment: This is a full-time, 6-month, ongoing contract position staffed via our client. This role is hybrid requiring at least 3 days onsite. It will be available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.

Requirements

• 6+ years of extensive ServiceNow development and administration experience, with a focus on the following:
• ITAM, ITOM, Flow Designer, integrations, scoped applications, and automated testing frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to orchestrate productive meetings, set clear user expectations, and evangelize ServiceNow best practices
• Stellar communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for translating complex concepts into digestible insights
• A pronounced sense of responsibility and a drive for continuous evolution and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in hardware or software asset management
• ServiceNow-certified application developer certification
• HR service delivery certification
