The Operational Technology (OT) Solution Consultant role involves working closely with customers as a domain expert to develop innovative business solutions by leveraging technical and business expertise.

This position entails Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering/Solution Consulting responsibilities. You will collaborate with sales, solution consulting, and the broader ServiceNow network to ensure customer success through providing expert insights and fostering awareness. The role adopts a consultative approach with customers and prospects to identify and map solutions aligned with business outcomes.

  • Create and contribute to Sales campaigns focusing on Operational Technology
  • Serve as a leading authority on Operational Technology within ServiceNow
  • Establish strong alignment with Product Management and Engineering teams regarding product roadmap and customer feedback from a business and industry perspective
  • Develop and support programs to enable Solution Consultants to showcase the value of Operational Technology
  • Conduct demonstrations of solutions, both standard and customized, to prospects and existing customers in the field of Operational Technology and ServiceNow
  • Define and execute Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects.
  • Participate in Marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.
  • Stay updated on competitive analysis and effectively position ServiceNow solutions
  • Understand the business and technical challenges addressed by the product, including key regulations, business drivers, evolving needs, licensing models, etc. Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Expertise in Operational Technology and/or related industries (Oil and Gas, Retail, Manufacturing, Plants, Other)
  • Experience or familiarity with OT-related technologies and standards (examples: Nozomi, Dragos, Claroty, Siemens Industrial Asset Hub, etc...)
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform is highly desirable
  • Prior experience in Pre-sales or consulting to establish trust as an advisor
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills covering both technical and business aspects
  • Proficiency in English and German Additional Information
