Job Description:

We are seeking a Certified ServiceNow Expert Application Developer to join our team and assist in developing and growing our application development capabilities within the PSDS (Platform Service Delivery Solution) environment for our client. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in PSDS, ServiceNow implementation, configuration, administration, development, architecture, and Scrum development methodology.

Responsibilities :

• Work closely with the ETS Application Development team to build, configure, and maintain the Enterprise Portal and associated applications within the ServiceNow PSDS environment.
• Develop and grow the existing application development team's skills and abilities, serving as an expert resource in the ServiceNow platform.
• Guide development teams through all stages of development projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment, within the PSDS environment.
• Advise on the configuration and implementation of the State Enterprise Portal initiative.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to development teams on the PSDS ServiceNow environment, best practices, and development methodologies.
• Act as an escalation point of support for the development team, addressing complex ServiceNow issues and providing expert guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Continuously improve development processes, standardize coding practices, and promote adherence to ServiceNow best practices.

Qualifications :

• Certified ServiceNow Expert Application Developer (or equivalent certification).
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow implementation, configuration, administration, development, and architecture within the PSDS environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum development methodology and experience leading Agile development teams.
• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS) and development tools.
• Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to provide training and knowledge transfer to development teams.
• 3 plus years with several successful projects completed
• Project management skills and experience as Senior/Lead developer
• Leading a team of 2-3 developers through successive PSDS implementations, the workload will be dictated/created by the consultant

Project :

1. Well water licensure system is the first project. This will require the consultant to guide our internal developers on all aspects from scoping, sprint management, testing and pushing to production. Additional projects will be requested at completion.
2. PSDS environment and any specific configurations or customizations currently in place? - This is a greenfield environment, only 1 existing licensing application has been created
