We are currently seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator with hands-on experience in strategic portfolio management (SPM) to join our project team on a contractual basis. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in deploying new modules and features within ServiceNow, with a particular focus on leveraging out-of-the-box solutions to meet business needs efficiently. This role... demands a thorough understanding of ITIL frameworks and IT best practices in the design and development of ServiceNow solutions while working within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy new modules and features within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on strategic portfolio management, IT service management, and agile methodologies.
  • Utilize out-of-the-box ServiceNow solutions to their fullest potential to meet project requirements efficiently, while customizing only when necessary.
  • Ensure all development work follows ITIL guidelines and IT best practices to maintain system integrity and compliance.
  • Manage and configure ServiceNow Access Control Lists (ACLs) to ensure appropriate data security and access permissions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow ITSM, SPM, and Agile 2.0 solutions with existing systems and workflows.
  • Implement and support SAFe Agile methodologies within the ServiceNow environment to enhance project management and operational agility.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of new deployments to ensure they meet user requirements and are free of defects.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, helping them to understand and effectively utilize new systems and features.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow developer with hands-on experience in strategic portfolio management.
  • Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, SPM, Agile 2.0, and familiarity with SAFe Agile implementations and integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders and presenting complex solutions clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a ServiceNow developer, including substantial work on enterprise-level deployment projects
