Project Overview:
The IT Architect for the Ohio ESM project will ensure the State's satisfaction with the technical aspects of the ESM, manage the successful delivery of technical work products, oversee ServiceNow instances, and resolve technical issues. They will provide technical insight for optimization initiatives and roadmaps, ensure adherence to technical standards, and manage continuous improvement efforts. They will serve as the main contact for Run Book development and maintenance and oversee technical environments and releases.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Technical Management:
- Ensure client satisfaction with the technical dimensions of the Supplemental Services and ServiceNow application.
- Deliver high-quality, on-time, on-budget technical functions and work products.
- Manage the overall technical health of the ServiceNow instances, including technical debt.
- Monitor technical performance and identify remediation steps and improvement opportunities.
- Manage technical program risk and implement mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to optimization initiatives and technical roadmaps.
- Architect, test, document, and promote new technical approaches to problems.
- Define and oversee steady-state processes for the technical team, including work products, templates, and release criteria.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and development.
- Submit reports on technical application health, performance, backlog, and processes.
- Oversee all technical implementations and development through architectural and development standards reviews.
ServiceNow Relationship:
- Manage the technical relationship with ServiceNow and handle tickets on behalf of the state.
Standards and Architecture:
- Develop and update ServiceNow architectural and technical development standards and best practices.
- Maintain and review Architecture Documentation.
- Review proposed architectural changes.
