We are excited to offer a 100% remote opportunity for a Principal ServiceNow Architect anywhere within the United States. Responsibilities
Solution Design and Architecture:
Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to define requirements, understand business processes, introduce new capabilities, and design robust and scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Create detailed technical designs that align with clients' short- and long-term needs, leveraging the ServiceNow platform and integrations with third-party technologies.
Build thought leaders within the practice who can instill confidence in the solution during client ambiguity and lead clients to informed architectural decisions.
Technical Consultation
Serve as an expert advisor to clients, partners, and project teams, leading solution sessions, fostering shared understanding, and bridging gaps between disparate organizations through technical expertise and leadership.
Thought Leadership
Establish our brand as a thought leader within the ServiceNow ecosystem through knowledge sharing, white papers, demonstrations, and community engagement.
Implementation Support
Define and uphold standards for collaboration with project managers, developers, and other teams to support the implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
Develop a network of experts to ensure accurate translation of requirements into functional solutions.
Integration And Automation
Design innovative integration solutions for the practice, driving adoption and ensuring data consistency and integrity across different platforms.
Create standards for documentation, data integration plans, roadmaps, and strategies.
Performance Optimization
Identify new methodologies and technologies to enhance performance analysis and optimization best practices within the practice.
Quality Assurance
Ensure delivery teams adhere to quality assurance best practices, driving successful outcomes when teams fall short of standards.
Resource Management
Collaborate with resourcing, practice leadership, and program management to ensure appropriately certified, trained, and experienced resources are deployed on projects.
Identify new resource requirements as market conditions and strategic initiatives evolve.
Security And Compliance
Develop and mature new security solutions to meet changing compliance requirements, ensuring robust security measures and environments for clients.
Documentation And Knowledge Sharing
Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration and customization specifications, data models, integrations, workflow specifications, and implementation guidelines.
Drive contributions to the knowledge base and share best practices within the team and the practice.
Continuous Learning
Stay abreast of and lead on the latest advancements in ServiceNow and integrated technologies, tools, and industry trends, continuously enhancing expertise to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Client Relationships
Build trusting relationships with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs, and delivering high-quality solutions that exceed expectations.
Mentorship And Coaching
Foster the growth of our ServiceNow talent pool by identifying career pathways, mentoring, and coaching individuals ready for greater responsibilities, and tailoring growth plans for those in need.
Strategic Relationships
Foster enduring relationships between our organization, the ServiceNow product and sales teams, and our clients, facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Business Strategy
Serve as an expert in our strategic initiatives, proposing innovative solutions that leverage emerging technologies and methodologies, designing implementation frameworks and plans, and supporting marketing and sales strategies.
Corporate Growth
Contribute to business growth by developing client roadmaps, identifying new opportunities, and presenting proposed solutions to potential clients in a clear and understandable manner.
Required Experience And Certifications
15+ years of experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions.
Certified Technical Architect.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
Active Certified Application Developer.
U.S. Citizenship required (federal government requirement).
Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
Must reside in the U.S. and perform work within the U.S.
Preferred Skills
Certified in five or more mainline certifications, including but not limited to:
CIS - Human Resources
CIS - Customer Service Management
CIS - IT Service Management
CIS - Discovery
CIS - Service Mapping
CIS - Application Portfolio Management
CIS - Software Asset Management
CIS - Hardware Asset Management
CIS - Project Portfolio Management
Ideal Candidate
Hands-on experience implementing or architecting 30+ ServiceNow applications.
ServiceNow Certified Master Architect.
Extensive experience across various parts of the ServiceNow platform and commonly integrated third-party technologies.
Expertise in scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and other relevant languages.
Proficiency in designing and leading complex solutions and integrations.
Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
Excellent technical leadership skills with a desire for additional responsibilities.
Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Superior communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
In-depth understanding of ServiceNow best practices and industry trends.
Effective conflict resolution skills to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $112,513.00 - $231,440.00, determined by factors such as work experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, and contract provisions.
