What you will be doing:
As the ServiceNow Major Incident Manager, you will be the Process Owner for managing major incidents. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the resolution of major incidents as quickly as possible, ensuring they do not reoccur. You will lead the Major Incident Management process, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders
Scope of responsibilities:
- Incident Coordination: Take charge of major incidents, coordinating investigations and resolutions with efficiency and precision.
- Task Assignment: Delegate tasks to relevant teams, ensuring a cohesive and timely response to major incidents.
- Stakeholder Communication: Manage communications during major incidents, keeping both business and IT stakeholders informed and updated.
- Post-Incident Review: Conduct thorough reviews of resolved major incidents to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Process Ownership: Own the Major... Incident Management process, driving its mission and continuous improvement.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive process and procedure documentation.
- Cross-Functional Resolution: Address and resolve any cross-functional issues that arise during incident management.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of the Major Incident Management process, ensuring continuous enhancement.
What you need to succeed:
- At least 5 years of experience in IT service management or 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM processes; ITIL Certificate v4 is a plus.
- Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of technical data and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent managerial skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English at least C1 level
