Top Requirements:

• Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB
• Experience mapping applications within ServiceNow
• Strong experience with ServiceNow mapping of applications -Business Mapping in all facets such as top-down mapping, tag mapping, and horizontal mappings, creating patterns in ServiceNow.
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB Discovery including performing research to figure out why something is not discovering in CMDB, etc.
• Experience performing discovery on the CMDB.
• Strong communication skills- will have to work closely with stakeholders

Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:

Position Summary:

This resource will work with CI owners to help maintain and validate their data. Drive data mapping importance to the business. Incorporate processes to drive data mapping of new critical services that are being implemented into our environment. Responsible for validation and auditing of Discovery data, resolving CI conflicts, and reducing and eliminating duplicates. Thorough understanding of configuration management principles, methodologies, and tools Understanding of data models and data relationships as they relate to configuration management. Good understanding of data center infrastructure and end-user technology environments
