What you’ll do:

The ServiceNow Architect role is responsible for the technical solution and implementation from start to finish for Sollus customer projects as well as creating and maintaining a product roadmap to deliver against objectives and key results. This individual will lead technical requirements gathering workshops, both onsite and virtual, with Sollus customers and team members to capture all necessary requirements for implementing the solution on the ServiceNow platform. The Architect offers consultative guidance to the customer and designs the overall solution based on ServiceNow and industry-specific best practices.

  • Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and platform capabilities.
  • Product Management: Design and implement core platform support and delivery workflows, business rules, controls, reporting and other required features to satisfy application production engineering, service and process requirements
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and support.
  • Platform Configuration: Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and integrations to meet functional requirements and enhance user experience.
  • Integration Management: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, leveraging APIs, web services, and middleware technologies. (nice to have – not required but an understanding is helpful)
  • Co-lead requirements gathering workshops with business functional team members to provide technical guidance, and assist with capturing all necessary business, functional and technical requirements necessary to design and implement the solution
  • Collaborate with business functional team members to write/estimate stories
  • Work collaboratively with Engagement Manager to monitor for scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues and challenges
  • Proactively maintain expert knowledge and understanding of the latest ServiceNow platform and product offerings
  • Assist pre-sales team with scoping service engagements typically involving multiple ServiceNow products and complex integrations with client applications/systems
  • Open to candidates with experience in ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, GRC, SecOps or HRSD.

Experience Requirements:

  • Have a strong understanding of core ServiceNow Architecture.
  • Prefer consulting experience or previous ServiceNow partner experience.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow delivery, including architecture, solution design, and solution implementation.
  • Hold ServiceNow certifications including CSA, CAD, and at least one CIS certification, or have an interest in attaining additional certifications.
  • Demonstrate proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITSM solutions in client environments.
  • Have experience with key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions, including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, a customer-centric attitude, and situational awareness.
  • Have outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Be a proven team player and team builder.
  • Show strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts.
  • Display superior maturity, professionalism, and judgment; excel with minimal supervision.

Location and additional information:

  • Remote work environment, Headquartered just outside of Chicago
  • Ability to travel to client sites and HQ’s if required
