SR. SERVICENOW DEVELOPER (HUDSN):

Bowhead seeks a Sr. ServiceNow Developer located in Washington D.C. to support the Department of Housing and Urban Developmnet (HUD), Enterprise Service Delivery (ESD) effort that will integrate and modernize various HUD program offices enterprise-wide services related to Human Resources, IT, Facilities Management, Financial Management, Acquisitions, and more... HUD’s primary objectives are to enable the delivery of capabilities as a service, reduce existing technology sprawl through consolidation of various systems, digitally transform service areas with inadequate or nonexistent supporting technology, and drive HUD-wide technology and business efficiencies, all while enhancing customer experiences.

• Develop and deliver ServiceNow applications to meet various business use cases across HUD.
• Implement required ServiceNow Products and relevant third-party ServiceNow native applications (to include, but not limited to: Nuvolo, Proven Optics, and potentially other applications), and create applications.
• Responsible for not only the direct implementation of the use cases on the ServiceNow platform, but also for minor updates to upstream or downstream applications (either hands-on or through collaboratively working with existing system developers) to ensure interoperability between systems.
• Implementation of use cases involves the full end-to-end lifecycle of software development, which shall include all activities related to requirements refinement, development, testing, deployment, and system administration including reporting progress on project as a whole.
• Use an agile software development methodology to deliver the ServiceNow applications in quarterly releases based on the prioritized backlogs.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Technology (or equivalent)
• Five (5+) years of experience as a Developer or Engineer across any relevant disciplines including cloud software development, PaaS, or SaaS
• Five (5+) years of experience as a Developer or Engineer or other technical profession within the ServiceNow ecosystem
• ServiceNow ITSM experience along with the ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery experience required.
• Advanced development skills in modern programming languages and understanding of Enterprise development techniques.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Possess ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for admission to this location.
