Job Description::

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of IT Operations Management (ITOM) Discovery solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep technical expertise, a comprehensive understanding of ITOM processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ITOM Discovery solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

Implement ServiceNow Discovery to identify and track assets and configurations within the IT environment.

Customize and configure ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping processes.

Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with other IT systems and tools to ensure comprehensive discovery and asset management.

Maintain and update ServiceNow Discovery schedules and credentials.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Discovery and Service Mapping.

Work closely with ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB teams to ensure alignment and integration of ITOM Discovery processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, security, and application teams, to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.

Create and maintain detailed documentation of discovery processes, configurations, and best practices.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Experience:

8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on ITOM Discovery.

Proven experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.

Experience in developing and implementing ITOM solutions, including CMDB, Event Management, and Orchestration.

Skills:

Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and other relevant scripting languages.

Strong understanding of networking, cloud environments, and IT infrastructure.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.

Certifications:

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM Discovery.

Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are a plus.
