Senior ServiceNow Developer

Yoh is seeking a senior-level ServiceNow Developer for our Government Services client, contributing to meaningful solutions in the national security space. Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer Compensation: $130,000-$180,000/year (depending on experience level) Type: Direct Hire Industry: Government Services

Responsibilities:

• Execute innovative ServiceNow solutions, adhering to top-tier industry practices and ServiceNow standards
• Facilitate comprehensive requirements gathering sessions and meticulously document client needs
• Create and deploy cutting-edge solutions within the ServiceNow framework, encompassing new applications, forms, workflows, UI elements, and system configurations tailored to client specifications
• Partner with team leadership to translate requirements and design mock-ups into fully realized functionalities
• Development work: Both client and server-side scripting, to construct and troubleshoot various system components including forms, workflows, interfaces, and business rules
• Implement and customize ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and CMDB modules, alongside adeptly handling integrations and bespoke application development
• Offer insights and recommendations on optimal solution strategies
• Provide expert-level support for ServiceNow, diagnosing complex software issues, implementing fixes, and conducting thorough root cause analyses
• Take the lead in requirements gathering initiatives and the documentation of process workflows, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Drive ServiceNow solution development within an Agile framework, managing the seamless transition of developments from development to testing to production environments
• Utilize update sets and XML configurations to efficiently migrate customer configurations and data between environments Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of overall experience (or 15+ years of relevant working experience)
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, demonstrating proficiency in ITAM, SAM, CMDB, Discovery, workflow management, and UI customization
• 4+ years of experience in both implementing and developing ServiceNow applications, as well as integrating third-party solutions
• 4+ years of experience with ServiceNow Automation Platform, including Flow Designer and Workflow
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular.js, PowerShell, XML, JSON, and REST/SOAP integrations
• Extensive administration experience with ServiceNow, including configuration of various system elements and modules
• Expertise in scripting, integration hub, and flow designer, with a keen understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate and articulate ideas across all levels of stakeholders Preferred Qualifications:
• ServiceNow certifications, such as CIS - Software Asset Management, Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator, and others
• Experience with ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules, including a comprehensive understanding of governance, risk, and compliance processes
• Solid understanding and practical experience in ITOM development, specifically with Software Asset Management, CMDB, MID Server, and Discovery
• Proficiency in JavaScript, REST, and SOAP integrations, and experience using ServiceNow App Engine Studio with UI Builder
• Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing ServiceNow process flows and workflows
