The company

Our customer, a large organisation in the Health Industry with offices in Sydney CBD, are willing to grow their internal ServiceNow practice and are therefore on the lookout for a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong skills across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and Virtual Agent modules to join their friendly and professional team.

The role

Reporting to the ServiceNow Platform Manager, you'll join the internal ServiceNow team and bring your expertise across ServiceNow development, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and VA... modules. You'll also advise on best use of the platform and take part in new modules implementation projects.

Part of your main responsibilities:

• Work closely with the business stakeholders, change manager and SME's to gather requirements and deliver ServiceNow solutions aligned with the organisation's needs.
• Build and configure custom solutions on the ServiceNow Platform (design and development)
• Work on new modules implementation projects, such as Asset Management and Virtual Agent.
• Work on integration with other business applications
• Work on improvements and implementation of product releases by working with the BAU team and SME’s to design data, system and functional changes
• Contribute to improving and implementing frameworks, processes, standards, guidelines and best practices.
• Liaise with 3rd party providers and vendors
• Assist with 3rd level operational support when required

Required skills & experience

• 5+ years of development experience in ServiceNow
• Solid experience in application development frameworks and test driven development
• Extensive knowledge of a few ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, GRC and Virtual Agent.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
• Previous exposure to Azure Cloud highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience working on Software integration
• Experience in performance tuning and code profiling
• Relevant Industry certifications such as ServiceNow developer certification (CAD) highly regarded
