Job Description:

As a ServiceNow ITSM Senior Developer/Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, development, customization, and integration of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions to meet our clients' business needs. You will work closely with clients, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality ServiceNow implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design and development of ServiceNow ITSM solutions, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and other ITIL processes.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and define solution architectures that leverage ServiceNow best practices.
  • Design and implement ServiceNow workflows, forms, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and integrations using JavaScript, Glide API, and other ServiceNow development tools.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and applications to meet specific business requirements, including the creation of custom tables, fields, and ACLs.
  • Develop ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration methods.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, reviewing code, providing feedback, and mentoring team members.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and best practices, and recommend enhancements to optimize our clients' ServiceNow environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • years of experience as a ServiceNow developer, with a focus on ITSM module implementations.
  • Strong technical proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including JavaScript, Glide API, UI Actions, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integration techniques, including REST API, SOAP web services, MID Server, and Import Sets.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow administration tasks, including user roles, permissions, notifications, and data management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in IT Service Management (ITSM) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) are preferred
