The essential functions of this position include:

  • Manage patches and upgrades across sub-production and production instances.
  • Review other ServiceNow support communications and remediate if needed.
  • Perform periodic security reviews. Manage and maintain platform security.
  • Maintain linux-based Mid Servers.
  • Create and maintain integrations with ePlus Customers, Vendors and internal applications.
  • Provide 2nd level support for ePlus staff with ServiceNow questions and concerns.
  • Meet with stakeholders to review and design ServiceNow solutions.
  • Assist leadership with prioritization--providing timelines, level of effort, and solution options.
  • Architect solutions and provide suggestions to improve current business processes.
  • Configure and develop solutions. Test, document, gather approvals, and migrate to production.
  • Develop or improve existing automation and system management tools and processes that reduce manual efforts to increase overall efficiency.
  • Be the technical leader of the ePlus ServiceNow support team.
  • Train and mentor others in the ServiceNow development and support team.
  • Participate in 3rd party application development and design. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in software design and development specific to ServiceNow
  • Strong code development skills with client and server-side scripting.
  • UI experience designing intuitive interfaces for ePlus staff and customers.
  • Experience using ServiceNow tools to integrate with other systems.
  • Performed release upgrades and patches.
  • Managed ServiceNow security model.
  • Acted as PM, BA, architect, developer, and QA analyst to complete enhancements.
  • Expert skills with managing foundational data, ITSM applications, CMDB, security policy.

Other valued skills:

  • Domain Separation experience.
  • Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Help Desk operations experience.
  • Microsoft VBA, PHP and Python development.
  • Understanding of internet email processes, SPAM management, DNS POSITION SPECIFICS

The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000 and $140,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
