Position Title: ServiceNow Senior Developer

Location: Remote (Anywhere in India)

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a ServiceNow Senior Developer. As a ServiceNow Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions, maintain system integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, and other modules, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations. Create and maintain technical... documentation related to ServiceNow development projects.

Customization and Configuration: Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new modules and enhancements. Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and UI actions.

Integration: Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and other integration tools. Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.

System Administration: Perform system administration tasks, including user and group management, access controls, and configuration management. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to gather and refine requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Best Practices and Compliance: Ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow development and ITIL processes. Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and industry trends.

Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, including patch management and upgrades. Handle ServiceNow incidents, requests, and change management processes effectively.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex ServiceNow projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies. Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HR, and others. Experience with ServiceNow integration tools (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server). Certifications: ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist, are a plus Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules and plugins. Experience with cloud platforms and technologies.
