ServiceNow team is focused on modernizing and automating IT processes and practices by aligning with industry standards for enhanced regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and effectiveness. The ServiceNow team supports the enterprise by enabling capabilities across various domains to manage assets, processes, workflows and operations.

Responsibilities: Business and product portfolio strategy, managing new and existing products working with stakeholders to drive business value through emerging capabilities.

  • This role involves management products related to the ServiceNow platform
  • Strategic role that sits at the intersection of technology and business, and user experience
  • Collaborates with various stakeholders, including development teams, business leaders, and end-users, to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps
  • Guides the success of products and leading cross-functional teams charges with improving the capabilities within the platform
  • Responsibilities may include defining product features, collaboration the technical and process teams, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and optimizing service delivery

Qualifications: 1.Product management experience or similar experience working as a technical product manager 2.Proven track record defining and implementing platform strategies that build value 3.Experience gathering product requirements that translate into the creation of product vision, strategy and roadmaps 4.Systems thinking and creative problem solving approach that considers alternative solutions to utilizing the platform for business value 5.Ability to build relationships and influence without authority at all levels of the organization 6.ServiceNow/ITSM experience preferred

Job Description Defines the strategy and executes on the business and financial results for a product portfolio through the leadership of team(s) managing new and existing products by creating a differentiated customer experience utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics. Defines the overall strategy to produce a differentiated customer experience related to product or experience development for applicable business segments and product groups. Sponsors potential product or experience development projects for feasibility and value. Presents initiatives and policy changes to gain executive management buy-in. Manages progress to ensure initiatives are completed on time, within budget and meet strategic goals and oversees the resolution of issues that arise. Participates in the marketplace to influence product and customer experience trends and leads teams to execute on new products or enhancements to existing products or experiences and recognizes, anticipates and resolves complex operational and process problems that arise. Presents ideas to governing committees for approval. Maintains network of counterparts and third parties within the industry. Serves as senior point of escalation and ensures successful outcomes from key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery and other internal service partners. Leads activities with external stakeholders and clients throughout the product lifecycle. Supports determination of risk appetite and limits as part of the first line of defense. Owns business response to audit and regulatory finding. Leads one or multiple product lines and manager(s). Manages, motivates and develops the performance of the product development management team and key contributors. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
