The Role:

The ideal candidate will;

  • Participate as a team member in the client’s Enterprise Systems Team team.
  • Administer, Support & Maintain... the client’s Enterprise Systems, including but not limited to the following:
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Microsoft SharePoint (both on-premises and SharePoint Online)
  • ServiceNow
  • Microsoft PowerApps
  • Microsoft Flow
  • Be guided by the “SharePoint and CRM Specialist” for workload prioritisation and escalation support.

Key Responsibilities:

Incident management (Level 4)

  • Prioritise and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures.
  • Investigate causes of incidents and seek resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved incidents.
  • Facilitate recovery, following resolution of incidents.
  • Document and close resolved incidents according to agreed procedures.

Problem management (Level 4)

  • Initiate and monitor actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes, and services.
  • Determine problem fixes/remedies.
  • Assist with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.

Requirements definition and management (Level 2)

  • Assist in the definition and management of requirements.
  • Use standard techniques to elicit, specify, and document requirements for simple subject areas with clearly defined boundaries.
  • Assist in the creation of a requirements baseline and in investigating and applying authorised requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.

Programming/software development (Level 4)

  • Design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor complex programs/scripts and integration software services.
  • Contribute to selection of the software development approach for projects, selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
  • Apply agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered outcomes. Participate in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work.

Data Visualisation (Level 4)

  • Apply a variety of visualisation techniques and designs the content and appearance of data visuals.
  • Operationalise and automate activities for efficient and timely production of data visuals.
  • Select appropriate visualisation approach from a range of applicable options.
  • Contribute to exploration and experimentation in data visualisation.

Change Management (Level 4)

  • Assess, Analyse, Develop, document, and implement changes based on requests for change.
  • Apply change control procedures.

Information content publishing (Level 1)

  • Contribute, under instruction, to publication support activities and support the collation of data.
  • Take source material in various proprietary formats and use the publishing process to create content according to appropriate guidelines.

What skills and experience you bring:

  • Degree or equivalent in Information Technology.
  • Related Microsoft Certification.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the relevant technologies.
  • Experience with web design using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with SQL Server and TSQL.
  • A good working knowledge of BPMN.
  • Desirable skills in: Form and workflow creation solutions, Git, Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and feel comfortable.
  • A proven ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude with an aptitude to take on any task and run with it to completion.
  • Working knowledge of the ITIL v3 Framework.
  • Familiarity of Project Management methodologies.
