ServiceNow Consultant/Architect

Job Summary

As a ServiceNow Consultant/Architect working for a local public sector consulting firm, you will play a crucial role in building, designing, and implementing ServiceNow technologies across multiple Federal Government clients.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to across multiple projects to help companies to set up new, and run current ServiceNow enterprise service management solutions with a specific focus on Security Operations and Integrated Risk Management.

What will you be doing?

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and... translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design ServiceNow solutions that meet business needs and comply with best practices.
  • Create architectural diagrams and documentation to illustrate system designs.
  • Ensure the scalability and maintainability of the proposed solutions.
  • Configure ServiceNow modules and applications based on gathered requirements.
  • Develop custom applications and integrations using ServiceNow s scripting and APIs.
  • Set up workflows, business rules, UI policies, and other platform features.
  • Write custom scripts and develop new features to extend the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and third-party tools.
  • Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing phases.
  • Manage implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Recommend enhancements and optimisations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow implementations.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and enhancements to the ServiceNow platform.

Skills and experience required to succeed in this role?

  • Australian citizen with NV1 Security Clearance
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow technologies
  • ServiceNow Certifications, with SecOps and IRM modules.
  • Technical Proficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Work onsite in Canberra, ACT.

Clearance required?

  • NV1 Clearance or above.
