ITAM Consultant

Alcor is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Functional Consultant specializing in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) to join our IT Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in ServiceNow to deliver robust asset management solutions, optimizing the management of both hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with clients to tailor solutions to their specific needs, ensuring efficient asset management and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their hardware and software asset management needs and objectives.
• Conduct thorough assessments, workshops, and interviews to gather requirements and analyze existing asset management processes.
• Design and configure ServiceNow modules for Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) to meet client-specific requirements.
• Develop and customize workflows, reports, and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over asset management activities.
• Lead the implementation of ServiceNow HAM and SAM solutions, ensuring successful deployment and integration with other ITSM and business systems.
• Ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency through effective system integration and process automation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for managing hardware and software assets.
• Develop and document ITAM processes, policies, and procedures to support efficient asset lifecycle management.
• Provide comprehensive training and support to client teams on ServiceNow HAM and SAM functionalities and best practices.
• Create user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles to facilitate effective use of ServiceNow solutions.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations to ensure on-time and successful implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success and address any issues that arise.
• Generate and present detailed reports and dashboards to provide insights into hardware and software asset utilization, compliance, and financial impact.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in IT Asset Management (HAM & SAM) are highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow ITAM Functional Consultant with a focus on Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow HAM and SAM solutions.
• Strong understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and ITSM (IT Service Management) best practices.

Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a ServiceNow ITAM Functional Consultant with a focus on Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management.
• Extensive experience in designing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow HAM and SAM solutions.
• Strong background in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and ITSM (IT Service Management) best practices.
