Junior ServiceNow Developer

Description:

Loch Harbour Group is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support a government project in the DC Metro Area. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain platform environments for performance and reliability.
• Implement system enhancements and updates, including after-hours support when needed.
• Optimize system configuration for performance, scalability, and availability.
• Support SSO authentication and maintain system configurations.
• Manage platform upgrades, document processes, and resolve defects.
• Perform root cause analysis and present solutions for performance issues.

Core Duties:

• Customize and develop ServiceNow applications, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Configure instances using ServiceNow Studio and automate deployment tasks.
• Build custom applications with Server-Side Glide Scripting and Client-Side GlideAjax.
• Resolve issues during UAT and support production deployment. Requirements:

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (preferred).
• Experience: Three (3) years of IT experience and/or programming/software development, with hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Glide Scripting, and ServiceNow Studio.
• Understanding of ServiceNow modules and REST API integrations.

Certifications Required:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
