Job Description

As a Ruby Developer, you will be a responsible for:

Providing enhancements to the application platform with specific emphasis on sound fundamental development methodology in Ruby on Rails.

Develop responsive, high performing web applications using modern techniques and frameworks as well as write tests and perform code reviews in a dynamic, fast paced agile environment.

Participating in the Regeneron teams effort to improve the efficiency and quality of the entire development process.

Required Skills

3-5 years of development experience with Ruby on Rails, with at least 1 year of experience working supporting application in production.

3-5 years of development experience with MongoDB (or other NoSQL DBs)

Bachelors Degree (Computer Science or related fields)

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and REST APIs

Understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and external APIs

Preferred Skills

Exposure and experience to AWS, Solr and Selenium, Mango DB Docker, Kubernates, Travis , Lamada

Background in healthcare

Containerization Concepts, Docker, Kubernetes

Experience with Angular 2 or JavaScript

Agile Methodology
