Job Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst (SC Cleared)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
Clearance Required: SC Clearance
Rate: Market Rate (PAYE through Umbrella)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst with active SC clearance to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and working closely with technical teams to deliver ServiceNow solutions that meet business objectives. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between stakeholders and developers, ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of ServiceNow functionalities in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow capabilities and best practices.
- Process Mapping and Analysis: Conduct detailed process mapping and gap analysis to identify opportunities for automation and improvement using ServiceNow.
- Solution Design Support: Work closely with ServiceNow architects and developers to design and validate solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and comply with technical standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders, including end-users, IT teams, and business leaders, to ensure clear communication of requirements and project status.
- User Stories and Documentation: Create clear and concise user stories, functional specifications, and other project documentation to guide development efforts.
- Testing and Validation: Assist in the preparation and execution of test plans, UAT, and validation of ServiceNow solutions to ensure they meet the agreed requirements.
- Change Management: Support change management activities, including user training, communications, and transition planning to ensure smooth adoption of new ServiceNow features.
- Data Analysis: Work on data-related requirements, including data integration, migration, and reporting within the ServiceNow platform.
Key Skills and Experience:
- SC Clearance: Must hold active SC clearance.
- ServiceNow Expertise: Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other relevant applications.
- Business Analysis Skills: Demonstrated experience in requirement gathering, process analysis, and creating user stories in a ServiceNow environment.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with ServiceNow's capabilities, integration points, and basic understanding of APIs and database functions.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify business challenges and propose effective solutions using ServiceNow.
- Documentation Skills: Proficiency in documenting requirements, creating flowcharts, and maintaining project documentation using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments, particularly as part of a ServiceNow project team.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices related to IT service management and ServiceNow workflows.
- Experience working in secure environments with a strong focus on data privacy and security compliance.
