Responsibilities: 2. Development and implementation of additional functionality and modules as directed

  1. Software configuration/customization including: a) screen/form design and layout

b) workflow analysis, design and support

c) data import/export scheduling, maintenance and validation

d) configure required integration components (SSO, LDAP, Mid Servers, etc.) using REST, SOAP

e) custom scripting

f) develop resource pools, roles, skills, resolver groups

g) design, configuration, and implementation of client specific reports and dashboards

  1. Translate business requirements into technical requirements and help provide estimates for configuration and development effort

  2. Develop solutions in the ServiceNow platform that are sustainable and ITIL compliant

  3. Perform unit testing, code reviews, development best practices and implement ServiceNow related best practices

  4. Configure and implement new workflows and enhancements to existing workflows and system functionality

  5. Conduct UAT for installed upgrades in all environments (Development, Staging, Production) and in writing ATF (automated testing framework) cases

  6. Create and maintain integrations with other internal and external systems and solutions, including manipulating and maintaining data between ServiceNow and other systems

  7. Develop documentation (directly or with assistance from other team members) related to all deliverables generated for the ServiceNow platform

  8. Provide knowledge transfer to full-time employee(s) with respect to everything that has been accomplished with each technology, for them to be able to provide enhancement, modification and administration services surrounding these technologies, and for them to eventually attain operational autonomy with respect to these technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years recent experience (within the last eight (8) years) leading or performing activities related tothe design and implementation of software systems. A combination between ‘leading’ and ‘performing’ adding up-to the required years of experience is acceptable.
