Senior ServiceNow Developer

Hybrid Chicago, IL (local candidates only)

We re working directly with the client to hire a hands-on expert to own high-impact projects on the ServiceNow platform.

As a Senior Developer on the ServiceNow Platform, you ll play a key role in transforming the employee and enterprise experience building intuitive, scalable, and integrated solutions across key modules and business functions.

You ll collaborate closely with developers, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to:

• Build and enhance solutions in HRSD, CMDB, Employee Center, and ITSM modules like Change/Incident/Problem Management
• Customize dashboards, widgets, workflows, and APIs using ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, client/server-side scripting, and REST/SOAP integrations
• Own key deliverables from technical design to deployment, support, and ongoing optimization
• Translate business needs into elegant, high-performing platform experiences

What You ll Bring:

• 4+ years of ServiceNow development with full-stack experience across UI and backend
• Strong skills in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS, and custom UI components
• Integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs and external systems
• Proactive problem-solving and a knack for catching issues before they escalate
• Clear communication and confidence working across tech and business teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Device42, Performance Analytics, Service Mapping, or mobile-responsive design
• HR tech exposure or experience building internal employee service tools
