We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in ServiceNow, advanced JavaScript skills, and a solid understanding of DevOps practices. In this role, you will drive software design projects, perform peer reviews, mentor a team of developers, and play a key role in our AI integration initiatives. This position requires a balance of strategic leadership and practical execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable applications and ServiceNow solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and guide architectural decisions.
  • Mentor and guide development teams, promoting best practices in clean code, design patterns, and secure coding.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Champion DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerized deployments.
  • Manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Drive AI/ML initiatives by integrating AI services into platforms and developing intelligent automation solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to performance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation in development practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow development (e.g., Workflows, Catalogs, IntegrationHub, CMDB).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and ServiceNow scripting APIs.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker), and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Expertise in software design, architecture, and leading development teams.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services).
  • Knowledge of architectural models, including domain-driven design, microservices, event-driven, and micro-frontend architectures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM).
  • Experience with modern web technologies like React or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven workflows or chatbots within enterprise platforms.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
