Senior ServiceNow Developer – HR Service Delivery (HRSD)

Job Overview We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) to lead the design, development, and optimization of our HR processes on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires strong technical skills, hands-on experience with HRSD modules, and the ability to partner with cross-functional HR and IT teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly HR solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end ServiceNow HRSD solutions, including: HR Case Management, Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center (ESC), Lifecycle Events (onboarding, offboarding, transitions).
• Collaborate with HR leadership and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Architect and develop complex solutions using flows, business rules, client/server scripts, UI policies, and Service Portal widgets.
• Oversee integrations with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
• Drive platform improvements, version upgrades, and performance tuning efforts.
• Mentor junior developers and provide code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
• Ensure alignment with IT security, data privacy, and HR compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Contribute to the HRSD roadmap and participate in strategic planning with HR and IT leadership.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ServiceNow development with hands-on experience in creating custom applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services and API integrations.
• Experience in system design, architecture, and load balancing techniques.
• Excellent debugging skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Compensation Package:

• 1099 contract

• Monday to Friday
