ServiceNow IRM/BCM Solutions Architect Job Description

This role involves leading and contributing to the growth of our dynamic ServiceNow practice. As a strategic ServiceNow IRM/BCM Solutions Architect, you will play a critical part in helping organizations solve key business challenges, improve operational performance, and gain a competitive advantage through effective use of the ServiceNow platform.

You will collaborate with project managers, technical architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive, high-impact ServiceNow solutions. In this role, you will lead the design and architecture of solutions that align business needs with technical requirements, ensuring projects are executed effectively and on schedule.

  • Develop and implement tailored ServiceNow IRM/BCM solutions based on client requirements.
  • Advise on IRM/BCM best practices and platform capabilities.
  • Create and document solution architectures aligned with stakeholder objectives and ServiceNow implementation standards.
  • Evaluate technical complexity and effort required for enhancements through demand or project-based evaluations.
  • Assess the technical feasibility of ServiceNow enhancements for platform compatibility and performance.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and translate complex functional and technical requirements.
  • Guide developers on ServiceNow architecture and coding best practices.
  • Recommend updates to development standards, including design and coding conventions.
  • Optimize code and architectural approaches.
  • Provide leadership in platform-wide development strategies and technical problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
  • 5+ years in a ServiceNow Solution Architect role.
  • 4+ years of experience in the IRM domain, with at least 2 years specifically focused on BCM (Business Continuity Management).
  • Expertise in BCM processes including Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Planning, Crisis Management, and Exercise Management.
  • Experience in ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and platform integrations.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM 4.0).
  • Strategic mindset with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
