ServiceNow Application Specialist

Job Title: ServiceNow Developer (with Systems Analyst Experience) - We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. The main responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support business processes and drive automation.

The candidate will serve as a Systems Analyst, working closely with business team members to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and support process improvements.

• Primary Responsibilities – Development (80%)
• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules using JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and other platform tools.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow forms, workflows, client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
• Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning, backlog reminement, and daily stand-ups.
• Build and maintain REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Ensure code and solutions follow ServiceNow standard processes, including upgrade and scalability considerations.
• Collaborate with QA for testing and deployment in lower environments before production rollout.

Secondary Responsibilities – Systems Analysis (20%)

• Work with business partners to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes to recommend improvements or automation using ServiceNow.
• Translate business requirements into actionable stories and technical specifications.
• Assist in user training, documentation, and support for deployed features and enhancements.
• Support release planning and coordination across teams as needed.
