SKILLS REQURIED

-Understanding of latest Wi-Fi technologies WiF6E, WiFi7 and aware of Wi-Fi industry standards and associations like WBA and WFA.

• Ability to understand and optimize network for convergence of Wireless Wi-Fi and 5G
• Experience in Testing Wi-Fi Networks
• Strong in Wi-Fi Protocols
• In-depth understanding of Spectrum and packet capture/analysis
• Experience with broadband product including CPE RDKB devices, DOCSIS, Cable Modem standards etc.
• Experience designing and implementing WLAN, wireless networks, and RF Link

-Investigate and validate hardware compliance with 802.11 protocols and features.

-Work with test equipment such as Octoscope, Candela, or Veriwave.

-Verify that the Wi-Fi hardware adheres to industry standards (such as IEEE 802.11 specifications).

-Conduct tests to ensure compliance with specific Wi-Fi protocols (e.g., 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).

-Evaluate the hardware's performance under various conditions (e.g., different data rates, channel widths, and modulation schemes).

-Analyze RF propagation, interference, and noise. In depth understanding of Wi-Fi authentication protocols (WPA2/WPA3/802.1X with EAP-TLS/PEAP) --Expertise in neighbor reports, fast BSS transitions, and BSS transition management and proficient in 802.11k, 802.11r, and 802.11v. Analyze client behavior, signal strength, and handover performance
