Applications Development, Principle (ServiceNow)

Provide technical leadership and advanced support for the installation, configuration and systems administration of applications. Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs. Troubleshoot and restore applications to operational and provide expert consultation on application capabilities and features. Interface with the customer and peer developers to develop strategies and plans, and lead the deployment of the applications in production environments. Perform systems analysis to identify system and application requirements. Support development of new documentation such as end-user administration, and the update of existing documentation. Provide instruction, direction, quality assurance, and mentorship of team members. Defines, oversees, and leads projects involving cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions in support of customer needs.

Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience that demonstrates technical competency. Ten (10) years of software development experience, including three (3) years in a senior level role. Five (5) years experience with web-based applications development, database work, and related technologies. Demonstrated team and/or organizational Leadership/Mentorship. Progressively responsible functional and technical administration of applications. Identification and implementation of customization requirements. Contributions to development of user training documentation, materials, or courses. Demonstrated use of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative, innovative, and effective ways.

Compensation Range $139,486.00 - $209,228.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children’s offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
