ServiceNow Developer - Hybrid

Job Description: As a ServiceNow Developer, you will collaborate with system specialists, subject matter experts, and external suppliers to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations. You will work closely with Process Owners, Business Analysts, Administrators, and fellow Developers to support ServiceNow functionality and enhancements within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and integrations
• Customize core ITSM applications including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB
• Build and maintain custom applications/modules using ServiceNow Studio
• Create workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies/actions, and automated tasks
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
• Develop dashboards, reports, and performance analytics widgets
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and ensure code quality and security
• Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, and system architecture
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development sprints
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Work effectively in a team environment

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting standards
• Experience with ITSM and at least one additional ServiceNow module (e.g., ITOM, HRSD, SPM, Source2Pay)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Required

Desired Skills:

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, HRSD, or Discovery
• Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF)
• Knowledge of ServiceNow App Engine and Flow Designer
• Understanding of CMDB and Discovery functionality
• Familiarity with Employee Service Portal and custom widget development

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
